Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Maya, the Design Interview Coach, handles personal data when you use the mobile application or contact support.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Maya (Design Interview Coach) is operated by Bulgakova Valeriia in Cyprus. For privacy questions or requests, email maya.interview.support@gmail.com.
2. Data we process
- Account information, including your email address and account identifier.
- Interview setup information, such as language, format, and job description.
- Background text and portfolio stories you choose to save.
- Interview questions, answer transcripts, scores, and AI-generated feedback.
- Support messages and reports you submit about an AI response.
- Limited server metadata used to secure the service and enforce usage limits.
3. Voice recordings
Recording starts only after you tap the microphone. Each bounded audio answer is transmitted for transcription and then deleted from the device. Raw audio is not stored in your account, database, or interview history.
The resulting text transcript may be saved with your interview session so you can review it later.
4. Why we use the data
We process data to:
- create and secure your account;
- provide voice transcription and interview feedback;
- save and display your interview history;
- personalize suggestions using information you provide;
- respond to support and privacy requests;
- prevent abuse and protect service availability.
5. Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database services, and protected server functions. We use OpenAI APIs for question sequencing, transcription, and feedback. These providers process information only to deliver the requested service under their applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
6. Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on performance of the service you request, your consent for optional information and microphone access, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention.
7. Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual interview sessions or your complete account. Support and security records may be retained for a limited period where reasonably required to resolve a request, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email maya.interview.support@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. International processing and security
Service providers may process data outside your country. We use encrypted connections, authenticated server functions, access controls, and database ownership rules designed to protect your information. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free.
10. Age limit and changes
The service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
